New Vision, Mission and Values

As a result of the strategic planning process, MHP, with community input, is proposing updates to its vision, mission, and values to align itself with its governing body, the Town of Huntsville, and the community it serves, ensuring it remains relevant, responsive and reflective of their evolving needs, interests and priorities.

Vision: Our North Star - what Muskoka Heritage Place aims to be

Muskoka Heritage Place is a vibrant and immersive community hub where residents and visitors come to connect, contribute, and celebrate past and present stories and the natural environment, shaping our collective history and unique Muskoka experience.

Mission – Our purpose and how we achieve it

Muskoka Heritage Place collects, cares for and interprets the stories and material culture of all Muskokians. Through exhibitions and diverse programming, MHP connects people and the past, and inspires the community to listen, learn, and engage with the unique Muskoka experience.
